About this extension
BP Geolocation Spoofer is a Firefox geolocation spoofing add-on for developers, QA testers, proxy users, and privacy-control workflows. It lets you choose the location returned by the browser JavaScript Geolocation API, so websites receive your selected latitude, longitude, and accuracy when they call navigator.geolocation.
Use preset city profiles such as Paris, Tokyo, New York, London, Bucharest, Berlin, Sydney, and San Francisco, or add a custom location with OpenStreetMap lookup. The Add Location screen can autocomplete a place name and fill latitude and longitude, then save that profile for quick reuse.
Key features:
Spoof Firefox browser geolocation for website testing.
Choose preset city profiles with country flags.
Add custom latitude, longitude, accuracy, and optional altitude.
Use OpenStreetMap lookup to autocomplete location names and coordinates.
Select My real location when you do not want spoofing.
Add sites to Exclude when they should receive real browser geolocation.
Show, move, hide, or disable the on-page spoofed-location indicator.
Keep saved locations and site exceptions in local Firefox extension storage.
Common uses:
Test localized search, maps, weather, delivery, booking, retail, and form flows.
Verify web apps that depend on browser geolocation.
Repeat location-based QA tests without editing coordinates in DevTools.
Keep trusted websites on real browser geolocation while spoofing others.
Privacy notes:
Settings are stored locally in Firefox extension storage.
Saved locations, selected location, spoofing state, Exclude rules, and spoofed-location box preferences stay on this browser.
OpenStreetMap lookup sends only the typed location search query when autocomplete is used.
The add-on does not collect browsing history, page content, passwords, messages, payment data, or form contents.
Important limitation:
BP Geolocation Spoofer changes the browser Geolocation API response visible to page JavaScript. It does not change your IP address, proxy, VPN, timezone, operating-system GPS, browser language, browser locale, or signed-in account location.
