ChatGPT Conversation Export does not collect, sell, share or transmit personal data to any third-party server.

The extension works locally in the user’s browser. Exported files are generated locally and downloaded by the browser.

The extension does not use:

• analytics;
• advertising;
• telemetry;
• remote code;
• external synchronization;
• any third-party server controlled by the developer.

The extension only runs on ChatGPT pages and uses the already active ChatGPT session in the open tab to retrieve the current conversation for export.

The ChatGPT session token may be used in memory during the export process when required to access the current conversation, but it is export process when required to access the current conversation, but it is not stored by the extension and is not written to exported files.

Exported files may contain the content of the conversation selected by the user, including messages, references, attachments metadata or image references when such data is already present in ChatGPT’s response data. These files are created locally at the user’s request.

The extension stores only local settings needed for its operation.
