About this extension
Instagram lets you like a post, but never dislike it. Dislike Button for IG adds a downvote button with a shared, aggregated count to every post, so you can see collective sentiment at a glance.

How it works
A crossed-out heart button appears next to the like and comment icons on each post, in your feed, on profiles, on single-post pages, and on Reels. Click it to cast an anonymous dislike. The count is shared across all users of the extension.

Privacy-first by design
- No Instagram username, email, or personal data collected
- Only an anonymous, locally-generated ID and public post codes
- No tracking, no ads, no data selling
