Jade Copa 2026 is a World Cup 2026 companion extension. It fetches live match data (schedule, scores, group standings) from our Supabase backend at xzaiilkgfxjqmugjnbru.supabase.co. The "notifications" and "alarms" permissions are used to alert the user before Brazilian team matches.
No personal data is collected: - The extension only fetches public match data via GET requests - No user identifiers are sent - The "storage" permission saves user preferences locally (favorite team, notification settings)
About the manifest: - background.service_worker is for Chrome MV3 - background.scripts is the Firefox-compatible fallback (same file)
Build instructions: 1. Extract sources zip 2. cd world-cup-2026/ 3. npm install (uses pnpm workspaces — @jade/shared-lib and @jade/shared-ui are local packages) 4. npm run build 5. dist/manifest.json needs background.scripts manually added (same file as service_worker)
