Listen to the web — powered by your own TTS server
Kokoro TTS web page reader turns articles, documentation, and long-form pages into natural speech using a Kokoro TTS API server you control. Point the extension at your local machine or a remote server, pick a voice, and listen while you browse, commute, or rest your eyes.
No subscription. No cloud TTS lock-in. Your audio is generated by your Kokoro instance.
What you can do

Read the full page or start from selected text
Sentence-by-sentence playback with smart prefetch for smooth listening
Word-by-word highlight on the page as audio plays, with automatic scroll
Playback controls: play, pause, stop, previous/next sentence
Seek ±5 / ±10 seconds while reading (via the in-page Read button)
Choose voice and speed mode: Fast, Balanced, or Quality
Summarize
Generate a concise summary of the current page
Read the summary aloud or copy it with one click
Adjustable font size, light/dark theme, and expand to full screen
Ask the page (AI chat)
Open a chat panel to ask questions about the page
Follow-up questions keep context from the conversation
Expandable layout that adapts to desktop and mobile Firefox
