MangaLens — Privacy Policy

MangaLens translates the manga pages you are viewing in your browser.

WHAT WE PROCESS
• Page images: when you start a translation, the visible manga page image is sent to our backend (Google Cloud Run, EU region) to perform OCR and AI translation. Images are used only to produce the translation; they are not stored long-term and are never sold. Translated text may be cached without personal identifiers to speed up re-reading and reduce cost.
• Account: translating requires a free account. We store your email address and authentication data (handled by Google Firebase Authentication) to manage your account and per-user quotas.
• Payments: subscriptions and credit purchases are processed entirely by Stripe. Your card details never reach our servers.

WHAT WE DO NOT DO
• We never sell your data to anyone.
• We do not track your general browsing history.
• No remote code or remote fonts are loaded — everything is bundled in the extension.

YOUR CONTROL
You can delete your account and associated data from the extension's account settings, or by contacting us.
