About this extension
MeshVault Connect links your browser to MeshVault so you can capture 3D model downloads with their images/details and save them to keep a visual library.
When you click to download a supported model file, the extension will detect that and ask you where to save it, it will read the folders in your library or you can create your own. The extension will then read the page and along with useful model metadata such as the Thumbnails, title, author, source and author links and description. MeshVault then imports the file into your selected library folder.
MeshVault Connect is designed for makers, designers, collectors, and 3D printing users who want a cleaner way to keep downloaded models organized without manually moving, renaming, and sorting files.
Requires MeshVault:

Privacy:
MeshVault Connect is built for local library organization. Model files are sent to your MeshVault app or your configured MeshVault Server. No data is collected by the extension.
Notes:
- MeshVault Connect requires MeshVault to be installed and running, or a configured MeshVault Server.
- MeshVault is available through meshvault.app and requires a license key unlock or a MS store IAP.
- Site layouts and download systems can change, so metadata capture may vary by site or model page.
- Some private or account-only models may expose less metadata than public model pages.
- When downloading personal or owned models from Cults3D or Cgtrader, it needs to be done going via the models page.
- If MeshVault is not running, locked, or unavailable, downloads can continue through the browser normally.
- * Hiding AI models does not work on all sites.
