About this extension

PaperLens is a research workflow add-on for PubMed and other scholarly literature pages. It helps researchers, clinicians, students, and knowledge workers search, read, evaluate, save, and export academic papers directly in the browser.

On supported sites such as PubMed, Google Scholar, Web of Science, Semantic Scholar, DBLP, OpenReview, publisher pages, bioRxiv, medRxiv, arXiv, and other scholarly platforms, PaperLens can show journal metrics, citation signals, open-access and full-text links, export actions, Zotero integration, saved-paper tools, and AI-assisted reading features.

Key features include PubMed AI query enhancement, article interpretation, selected-text translation and summarization, journal indicators, full-text discovery, local or synced paper library, RIS/BibTeX/MEDLINE/CSV export, and Zotero handoff.

PaperLens does not serve ads and does not sell user data. Some account, sync, entitlement, and AI features communicate with PaperLens services or with user-configured AI endpoints only when needed for the requested feature.
