Privacy Policy — Proxy Tower for Firefox

This extension is a client for the Proxy Tower mobile proxy service. It is
built to hold as little data as possible and to keep your credentials on your
own device.

WHAT THE EXTENSION STORES
Your proxy connection details (host, port, username, password) and your
preferences (proxy on/off, kill switch) are saved only in your browser's local
extension storage. We have no server that receives or syncs this data.
Uninstalling the extension deletes it.

WHAT IS TRANSMITTED, AND TO WHOM
• Your browsing traffic, when the proxy is enabled, is routed through the proxy
server you configured (by default gateway.proxyops.io). Your SOCKS5 username
and password are sent to that proxy server to authenticate the connection —
this is the normal operation of a proxy and the purpose of the extension.
• Your proxy credentials are also sent, over HTTPS, to the Proxy Tower API at
https://proxyops.io when you use management features (rotate IP, change
location, view status), solely to authorize actions on your own proxy.
Requests to proxyops.io are always sent directly (not through the proxy) so the
service stays reachable.

WHAT WE DO NOT DO
• We do not sell, share, or transmit your data to third parties.
• We include no analytics, tracking, or advertising.
• We do not execute remote code; all code ships inside the extension.
• We do not collect your browsing history.

PERMISSIONS
• proxy — to route your browser through your configured proxy.
• storage — to save your settings locally.
• access to all sites — required for the proxy to apply to your browsing; the
extension does not read or modify page content.
