About this extension
PwMgr Connect is the browser-side companion of PwMgr, a strictly-local password manager for Windows. Click the PwMgr icon on any login page and it fills your saved username and password — talking only to the PwMgr desktop app on your own machine. No cloud, no servers, no telemetry, no network.
How it works:
• Click the PwMgr icon (or press Alt+Shift+L) on a login page.
• The extension asks your local PwMgr desktop app, over the browser's native-messaging protocol, which saved entries match the current site.
• Pick one, and your username and password are filled into the form.
What this extension does NOT do:
• Make network requests. No remote host access, no fetch, no XHR, no WebSocket — no outbound connections anywhere.
• Collect, store, or transmit your data. No analytics, no telemetry, no crash reporting, no fingerprinting.
• Communicate with any server owned by the developer or a third party.
• Hold your secrets. Credentials live only in the encrypted vault file the desktop app opens; the extension never sees your master password.
PwMgr Connect needs the PwMgr desktop app to do anything — get it from https://github.com/Catualus/PwMgr-Releases.
