Privacy policy for SiteLens
SiteLens by CMD Designs
SiteLens does not collect, sell, or share personal information with CMD Designs.
The extension runs locally in the browser and is designed to inspect the active website at the user’s request. SiteLens may read information about the active tab, including the current URL, page metadata, headings, links, image information, response headers, redirect information, DNS records, and related technical site health signals.
SiteLens stores extension settings locally in the browser using browser storage. If the user enters an IPinfo Lite API token, that token is stored locally in the browser and is used only to perform optional IP intelligence lookups.
SiteLens does not use advertising, analytics tracking, user accounts, or remote logging controlled by CMD Designs.
Some features make user-initiated requests to third-party services:
- DNS lookups may be sent to Cloudflare DNS-over-HTTPS.
- Optional IP intelligence lookups may be sent to IPinfo when the user provides an IPinfo Lite token.
- Website inspection features may request information from the active website being inspected.
These third-party services may receive technical request data such as queried domain names, IP addresses, or request metadata as necessary to provide the lookup result.
Report exports are generated locally by the extension and are not uploaded to CMD Designs.
Optional cookie deletion only runs when the user grants the required runtime permission and explicitly uses that feature.
