Story Export Studio runs entirely in your browser and saves fiction you are already reading into local TXT, PDF and EPUB files for personal, offline
reading. Nothing is sent to any server controlled by the developer.

Data handled: when you open a supported story/chapter page and trigger an export, the extension reads that page to extract story metadata (title, author,
description, tags, status, language), chapter text, and image/cover URLs — used only to build the file you requested.

Network: it makes requests to the fiction site you are using and, for Royal Road and Scribble Hub, to that site's image CDN (royalroadcdn.com /
cdn.scribblehub.com) to embed images. These use your normal browser session and never go to the developer or any third party. For Scribble Hub and the
XenForo forums these requests include your own session cookies for that same site, sent only to that site.

Storage: export settings, the most recent story and a local re-export history are stored on your device (local extension storage) and never leave it.

Downloads: generated files are saved to your Downloads folder only when you request it.

No data sale or sharing, no analytics, tracking or telemetry. You can clear stored data from the popup or by uninstalling.
