would be better if i didn't have to reinstall it every time i closed firefox or restarted my pc. i only have one script so it's relatively easy to fix, but it's still really annoying and i can't imagine how much worse it'd be if you have several.

Instead of blocking site scripts, you run your own browser side scripts!

It does not work for many user scripts I don't know why.
