Latest version
Version 1.5.0
Released Jun 13, 2026 - 11.46 MBWorks with firefox 109.0 and laterv1.5.0
What's new
- Large multi-chat exports run faster and use much less memory.
- Tables pasted into a Teams chat now export as real tables, keeping their rows and columns, in HTML, PDF, TXT, JSON and CSV. They used to be flattened to plain text.
- Reactions show each reactor's profile photo in HTML and PDF, with initials as a fallback.
- A Participants line lists who is in the chat.
- Save a chat selection as a named preset and re-apply it later from the picker.
- The plain-text export now marks edited messages and summarizes reactions. CSV gains a forwarded column and is protected against spreadsheet formula injection.
- Fixes for wide-table layout in PDF, mentions, autolinked links, and special characters in system messages.Source code released under MIT License
Older versions
Version 1.4.14
Released Jun 9, 2026 - 11.45 MBWorks with firefox 109.0 and laterv1.4.14
What's new
- Korean text now renders in PDF exports instead of empty boxes. Chinese and other non-Latin scripts were corrected in the same change.
- Very large exports download reliably. Multi-chat bundles and big single chats no longer fail partway through.
- PDF exports embed only the fonts a document uses, so the files are smaller.
- Reactions in PDF now show who reacted.
- Mentions render as @name in text and PDF exports.
- An inline-image-only message shows an [inline image] marker, and an image that cannot be fetched shows a labelled placeholder in HTML instead of a broken image.
- The export button reads "Export selected chat" when the chat you picked in the list is not the one open in Teams.Source code released under MIT License
Version 1.4.11
Released May 7, 2026 - 11.98 MBWorks with firefox 109.0 and laterv1.4.11
What's new
- Inline images now recover on networks where Teams' image proxy fails DNS. Private chat images are fetched via the original AMS host using the page-cookie helper; a per-export count is logged.
- Image-fetch fallback for public link-preview thumbnails is broader and safer. Previously only proxy 4xx triggered it; now a network failure does too. A per-export log lists which third-party hosts received a direct request, so you can see exactly what your browser contacted on your behalf.
- Stop is responsive again. Clicking Stop during a slow image-fetch run aborts in-flight helper fetches immediately instead of waiting out per-request timeouts.
- Rate-limit handling. When Teams returns HTTP 429 for image requests, the extension retries once with a brief delay and lowers per-export concurrency for the rest of the export. The Teams messaging API retry now also floors its backoff so the export does not fall back to DOM-scrolling on a rate-limit storm.
- Localised extension name and short description for 23 languages — about:addons now shows them in your browser language.
- Chat-picker UI text translated into all locales.Source code released under MIT License
