About this extension
Unsitely scans any website in seconds and tells you whether it's safe, suspicious, or dangerous — before you hand over your personal information or money.
How it works:
Click the Unsitely icon while on any website for an instant trust score. Unsitely also automatically scans links on the page and displays a safety chip directly next to each one, so you can see the risk level at a glance without clicking anything. Right-click any link and select "Check with Unsitely" for a full detailed report.
What Unsitely checks:
SSL certificate validity and HTTPS enforcement
Domain age and registration history
Known phishing and malware patterns
URL structure and redirect chains
URL shortener resolution — shortened links (bit.ly, t.co, etc.) are automatically resolved to their final destination before scanning
AI-powered analysis of site behavior and design signals
Trust score breakdown:
🟢 Safe (70–100): No significant threats detected
🟡 Suspicious (35–69): One or more warning signals present — proceed with caution
🔴 Dangerous (0–34): Confirmed malicious signals — do not visit
Who it's for:
Anyone who receives links in emails, messages, or social media and wants to verify them before clicking. Especially useful for identifying fake online stores, phishing pages, and fraudulent payment sites. The automatic inline chip scanning means protection is always on as you browse — no extra steps required.
Privacy:
Unsitely only scans URLs you explicitly submit or that appear as links on the page. No browsing history is collected, stored, or shared. The extension does not read page content.
Visit unsitely.com for the full web scanner, bulk URL scanning, and URL monitoring.
