Obviously the author wants to sell the full version by making the free version unusable. This add-on should be deleted from the mozilla site. JDownloader 2 does the much better job for free. Available for Win and Lin. No "compagnon" app needed.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 12912919, 4 months agoTo download in 720p, do I need to be PREMIUM? That's a joke.
I prefer to use the website app.ytdown.to, where I download ALL resolutions for free. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 19646271, 4 months ago
- Rated 1 out of 5by François.puko, 4 months agoIt completely breaks YouTube and other sites, changing the original format that can be downloaded to “TS” format. On YouTube, it becomes impossible to download videos in “MP4” format. Since I disabled this extension, everything has returned to normal. I ended up installing IDM (Internet Download Manager) Premium, which is faster and integrates with Firefox. I do not recommend VDH, especially the paid version, which is completely useless since they removed the file conversion feature that existed before.
