by Solemn, 5 years agoWARNING: If you use large numbers of tabs this add-on will frequently destroy the organisational structure of the tabs you have sorted into different panels when closing and reopening a browser session, requiring you to potentially reorganise large numbers of tabs or close the affected browser windows and attempt to load a saved snapshot of them, wasting a lot of your time.
As other reviewers have already mentioned, this problem doesn't appear to be an issue if you only use small numbers of tabs.
I tried this add-on after being a long time 'Tree Tabs' user (which handles large numbers of tabs reliably) and was hoping Sidebery would be a potential replacement with more QoL features.
Unfortunately Sidebery's inability to reliably save and restore browser session tab structures with large numbers of tabs means I would not recommend this to anyone who browses with large numbers of tabs.
Hopefully this issue can be fixed as Sidebery has a lot of good things going in its favour (e.g. clean UI, snapshot save system, panel sorting, containers) however until this critical issue is fixed the user experience is frustrating and wastes their time.

- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 12195764, 3 days agoThis fixes so many little nitpicks and inconveniences I have in my daily use of Firefox!
I usually have hundreds of Tabs open in sometimes more than 10 windows.
Now I can have one window with multiple panels, each categorised and it is so simple to move multiple tabs between them.
I love the vertical tabs that Firefox added natively, but they can not as easily be sorted and you cant even have the newest one appear on top.
Now I can!
Amazing add-on!
I hope it keeps on going for a very long time <3 - Rated 5 out of 5by Kadircan Ersahin, 7 days agoI stopped using Zen browser. The extension works better now.

When I enable Sidebery, if I try to use two or more “X” accounts in separate containers within Firefox's container tabs—specifically on the social media platform ‘X’—I lose access to “X” the moment I enable Sidebery.
It is unclear whether this is specific to the social media platform “X” or if it happens whenever you try to use two different IDs under the same domain in container tabs, but at least with “X,” attempting to open it in a specified container results in a loop where it keeps opening in the @*** container (where *** is the X username), preventing it from opening in the container tab.
If you turn Sidebery OFF, it won’t get stuck in a loop opening in the @*** container, and you’ll be able to open it in the specified container.

I could uninstall the add-ons for:
counting tabs,
session backup,
searching tabs,
multiple tab handling.
And I could customize the settings to my liking by GUI and CSS. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 18315694, a month ago

- Rated 5 out of 5by Kris Houston, 3 months agoI used to be a Tree Style Tab user, that is until I came across Sidebery which I found to be most useful. With Sidebery, I'm able to sort all my tabs and even configure the extension where specific new tab placement and I do not need a separate extension to enable the Unload feature either which I routinely do ensure memory doesn't fill up to fast.
The only thing I really do wish Sidebery is able to do is completely replace or even replicate Firefox's rather limited Vertical Tabs feature. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 19662475, 3 months agoBy far the best extension I have ever used. 1,000% changed how I use the internet and is one of the few things I have ever used that legitimately boost productivity. Throwing the owner a few bucks to support the effort.
One of the few things keeping me from switching browsers. - Rated 5 out of 5by Demods, 3 months agoThis extension works great, but I wish I could use the "split tabs" feature.

почему не сделать несколько панелей вкладок с вкладками . которые будут иметь свои названия и свои внутренние вкладки - Rated 5 out of 5by dfgger433, 4 months ago
