by Firefox user 13551861, 9 years agoVideo DownloadHelper was a great tool for me to preserve the videos I like. It's was awesome!
Unfortunately, it's now asking users to install companion app so that it can combine unwanted QR codes with the video that users are trying to download. Even worse, the re-encoding process proceeded by the companion app needs much CPU resources to deal with, and for sure users are not willing to watch this happens.
Goodbye, VDH.
